Phil Clarke has more than 45 years’ experience in the EMS profession, beginning his career in 1974 as a certified emergency medical technician in Aiken County, SC. He rose through the ranks over the course of his career, becoming a National Registry paramedic and critical care paramedic.

Phil joined Medshore Ambulance in 2014, serving as operations supervisor for five years before his promotion to operations manager overseeing the company’s Low Country District operations in Barnwell and Bamberg counties. Prior to joining Medshore, Phil worked as a field EMT and paramedic for Aiken County EMS, where he worked as the system’s EMS coordinator. He also served as director for the Williston Rescue Squad from 2012 through 2014.

Phil is a member of the Board of Directors for the Low Country Regional EMS Council and the Midlands EMS Association. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina-Aiken with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in business management and public administration.
