Medshore Ambulance is proud to announce that its founder Greg Shore has been named the 2023 Warren D. McBride award winner at the 2024 South Carolina Emergency Care Symposium. The award ceremony was held on Friday, March 8th.
The Warren D. McBride Award recognizes individuals who have provided outstanding contributions to improving EMS through a continuing long-term commitment to the citizens of South Carolina. The award committee looks for individuals whose commitment to elevating patient-centric care for their communities through a lifetime of dedication and compassion.
“We are proud to be able to be here today and help celebrate this tremendous honor with my dad,” said Josh Shore, Vice President of Strategic Projects and Government Affairs for Medshore Ambulance. “The Warren D. McBride Award recognizes individuals for their long-standing dedication to our EMS system. For as long as I can remember, my dad has always been involved in EMS, and his compassion and eagerness to push the limits to improve patient care continue today. We are grateful to the SCEMSA for recognizing his dedication, and we look forward to carrying on his commitment to putting our community first for years to come.”
